A New Look for LM

A New Look for LM

Leadership Macomb is celebrating its’ 20-year anniversary this year. In addition to celebrating our accomplishments, we are also looking ahead to the future. LM strives to be on the leading edge of the assets and issues of Macomb County, and recognizes the need to stay current as a top-notch leadership organization.  With the support and guidance of our Board of Directors, Alumni and Staff, Leadership Macomb is unveiling a new and improved brand while maintaining the basic characteristics we have had since the beginning.  The refreshed logo reflects our brand in a meaningful and aesthetically pleasing manner.

Looking at the logo, you will be drawn to the curved line that starts on the upper left, goes down and below the words “Leadership Macomb”  This line is actually an “lm” joined together to resemble waves or water, representing Lake St. Clair – one of the county’s most recognizable and valuable assets. The all caps, black and bold font of LEADERSHIP  symbolizes that our organization is strong and established. The softer look to Macomb represents that we are also a nurturing organization, inspiring participants and encouraging community involvement.

The words experience, connect and engage describe our organization in a simple, succinct way –

Participants EXPERIENCE the county’s assets and issues in a unique and dynamic learning environment, CONNECT with a multitude of leaders from diverse backgrounds, and proceed with the ability to ENGAGE in meaningful and valuable initiatives to not only enhance Macomb County, but their personal and professional lives as well.

We hope this new and improved image will reinforce our organization’s mission and excellence for years to come.
