JLM X- Career Readiness

This session will focus on your long-term success. We will be meeting at Extra Credit Union located at 6611 Chicago Rd, Warren, MI 48092. Please park in the back of the building and enter through the doors on the West Side of the building. We will be meeting upstairs in the Conference Room. Staff will be available to direct you where to go.

***The building does not open until 9:00am, so no need to worry about being a few minutes early today.***

We will be going over how to budget, how to best prepare for a job interview, and giving you things to think about as you begin to plan for continuing your education.

The objectives for the session are to:

1. Participate in a financial simulation to learn fiscal responsibility
2. Social Media- The Good, The Bad, The Truth
3. Learn about resume building and participate in Mock Interviews
4. Tour Macomb Community College’s M-TEC Program
