JLM IX Community Service Project

For our February service project, we will be making tie blankets and Valentine’s Day cards. We will be sending some of the blankets to children at Beaumont Troy hospital and to a local animal rescue, the Detroit Animal Welfare Group, for their kennels. The cards will be given to memory care residents at Waltonwood Assisted Living and the kids at Beaumont.

We will have the supplies for both projects available, but we are asking that you bring $12 to make two blankets.

We will be meeting from 10:00am-12:00pm at the Sterling Height Public Library located at 40255 Dodge Park Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48313. We will be in the big conference room to the left once you come through the main entrance of the library. Please note the time change from the original schedule.
