LM XXV Health & Human Services

Health & Human Services Day is packed full of relevant topics and industry speakers. We are ending the day at Martha T. Berry Medical Care Facility with a poverty simulation and a tour of the facility. Masks are required inside of Martha T. Berry and will be provided.

A hot breakfast will be provided. Dress attire is business casual, as we will be moving around a lot in the afternoon. Please dress in layers if you tend to get chilly.

The objectives for the session are:

1. To better understand healthcare issues, needs, and services in Macomb County
2. To better understand healthcare initiatives and trends
3. To experience the challenges of residents living in poverty and the resources available to them in the County
